6th Feb 2001 Intel cpu prices have begun to fall in the USA but to date the flow on effect has not been felt here in Australia as yet.. I would assume that it will take local dealers some time to move their old stock , and Im not to sure that the Australian consumer will be to happy about that, esp as it would be so much cheaper to buy from the states , rather than paying a good 30% or more for some cpu's here.. Even taking freight into consideration.
5th Feb 2001 The price of RAM has hit an all time low, Now is the time to buy, I saw Pc 133,128meg Hyundai ram , at an all time low in Melbourne of $105aust. It may keep going down in price, but it was not so long ago that the same stick of ram would have cost you $280aust. I purchased the same stick of ram two months ago at $115aust. The price has since gone up , and back down again..
